Bespoke Parquet Showroom
Lighting Design · Retail Spaces
The bespoke parquet showroom presents a collection of wooden floorings with diverse textures, geometric patterns and decorative finishes.
The space is organised as a gallery of materials: tilted display stands, individual samples on the walls and exhibition niches allow the floorings to be viewed from different distances.
The ALLPROJECTS team was tasked with developing lighting that would reveal the character of each sample while preserving a coherent perception of the interior.
To create a lighting environment in which visitors can appreciate the texture, pattern and shades of natural wood.
This required combining sufficiently even lighting of the retail hall with directional accents on the display surfaces.
Particular attention was paid to the choice of colour temperature, colour rendering quality and the ability to fine-tune the direction of light.

How light reveals the material
Warm Light Environment
A colour temperature of 3000 K was chosen for the project. Warm light supports the perception of the natural shades of wood and creates a consistent light environment in the retail hall.
Directional Accent Lighting
Track lighting with adjustable optics is used for both general and accent lighting. The ability to change the direction and character of the beam makes it possible to highlight individual parquet samples and reveal pattern geometry, surface texture and the details of decorative finishes.
Exhibition Niche Lighting
Compact directional luminaires with adjustable positioning and high colour rendering are used to light the samples in the niches individually. This allows light to be aimed precisely at the display surfaces, taking into account the placement of the samples and the character of the materials on show.
The ALLPROJECTS team developed the lighting concept for the bespoke parquet showroom, carried out the photometric calculations, and selected and supplied the equipment for the project.
The lighting solution combines general lighting of the retail space with directional accents on the display surfaces. The design paid particular attention to colour rendering, light distribution and the ability to fine-tune the lighting of individual samples.
Work completed by ALLPROJECTS
- 01Development of the lighting concept.
- 02Photometric calculations.
- 03Selection of lighting equipment.
- 04Equipment supply.

Lighting became a tool for presenting designer parquet.
An even light background lets visitors take in the retail space as a whole, while directional accents single out individual samples, helping to examine pattern geometry, wood structure and the nuances of its finish.
In this project, light does not compete with the material — it helps reveal the very qualities for which the material is chosen.
